Founder of Do Good Foundation Jasmine Pahwa has successfully completed the Self Enumeration (SE) process under Census 2027 and encouraged citizens to actively participate in this important national exercise.
The Self Enumeration phase for Census 2027 is being conducted from 30 April 2026 to 14 May 2026 through the official portal
se.census.gov.in. Citizens can conveniently submit their household Census details online using mobile number and OTP verification from the comfort of their homes.
During the interaction, Pahwa emphasized the importance of public participation in the Census process and appealed to families, especially youth and social organizations, to complete their Self Enumeration within the stipulated timeline. She stated that accurate Census data plays a vital role in strengthening developmental planning and welfare initiatives.
During Self Enumeration, citizens are required to provide household and family details, including HLO (House Listing Operations) information related to housing conditions, household amenities, assets, and basic facilities. The information collected will assist the government in policy formulation and developmental planning.
Statistical Investigator Gr-II Alok Kumar and Subhankar were also present during the Self Enumeration process.
The online process includes registration, OTP verification, entering household details, and final submission to generate a unique Self Enumeration ID. All information collected remains strictly confidential and will be used solely for official Census purposes.
Households unable to complete the process online will later be covered during the field enumeration phase by designated Enumerators.
