Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Celebrates National Technology Day

Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, Ludhiana observed National Technology Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit by organising various educational activities for the students. The celebrations aimed at creating awareness among students about the importance of science and technology, enhancing communication skills and inspiring them to contribute towards the technological advancement of the nation.

An engaging TED Talk Activity was organised for the students of Classes IV and V to enhance their communication skills, confidence, creativity and awareness about the role of technology in daily life. The young speakers enthusiastically presented their ideas on various technology-related topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Space Technology, Smart Gadgets, Digital Learning and Future Innovations. The students showcased remarkable stage presence and insightful perspectives.

On the occasion, the students of Classes XI and XII of the Science stream also participated enthusiastically in an enlightening speech activity. The students delivered impressive presentations on topics including the Introduction and History of National Technology Day, Pokhran-II Nuclear Tests, Operation Shakti and the Agni-5 MIRV Test. The participants highlighted how India emerged as a strong technological and nuclear power through the successful Pokhran nuclear tests conducted under “Operation Shakti” and emphasized the significance of advanced Agni-5 missile technology in strengthening national security.

The students showcased excellent speaking skills, confidence, and deep knowledge about India’s scientific achievements and technological progress.

The Chairman of the Chain of Green Land Schools, Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, in his inspirational message, stated that technology and innovation are the pillars of a progressive nation. He motivated students to develop scientific temper, innovative thinking and dedication towards research and development so that they may contribute meaningfully to the growth of the country. He further said that the achievements of Indian scientists are a great source of inspiration for the younger generation.

The Principal, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, addressed the students and emphasized that National Technology Day reminds every citizen of the importance of science, innovation and self-reliance. She encouraged the students to use technology for the welfare of humanity and nation-building.
