Ggi Organises Grand 'green And Clean Campus' Campaign And Awareness Programme

Gulzar Group of Institutions (GGI), Khanna organised a special and comprehensive 'Green and Clean Campus' campaign aimed at promoting environmental conservation, cleanliness, and sustainable development. Hundreds of students and faculty members from across the campus participated enthusiastically in the programme. To make the event even more engaging, impactful, and educational, a wide range of creative activities was featured.

During the event, students showcased beautiful, useful, and artistic items created from discarded household and campus waste (such as paper, plastic, and scrap materials). Cadets and students also led an awareness march across the campus, carrying banners with strong messages on environmental protection and tree plantation. All students and staff members took a solemn pledge to permanently stop using single-use plastics, conserve energy, and plant maximum trees while ensuring their proper upkeep. Additionally, students demonstrated their artistic skills by creating attractive posters themed around 'Save Earth' and 'Clean India', delivering a profound message on environmental preservation. Environmental experts also delivered detailed sessions on reducing carbon footprints, water conservation, and curbing pollution through small, everyday lifestyle changes.

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Gurkirat Singh, Vice Chairman of Gulzar Group of Institutions, said, "Instilling awareness about cleanliness and the environment among students is the need of the hour. Such programmes not only make our campuses greener but also inspire young minds to become responsible citizens. We must all work together to contribute towards a healthy and sustainable future." The programme concluded with the felicitation of students who excelled in the various activities and competitions, followed by a vigorous tree-plantation drive across the campus.
