Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Hosts Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex (centre Zone )group Dance Competition

Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Ludhiana, hosted Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex (Centre Zone) Group Dance Competition for students of Classes I to V with great enthusiasm and cultural splendour. Nearly 20 CBSE schools from across Ludhiana participated in the competition, providing young dancers with a vibrant platform to showcase their talent, creativity and confidence.

The competition was based on the captivating themes “India Through Ages” and “Navras”, taking the audience on a mesmerising journey through India’s glorious cultural heritage and the nine emotions expressed through the timeless language of dance. The young performers enthralled the audience with their graceful movements, expressive presentations, vibrant costumes and impressive synchronisation.

The performances were adjudged by Mrs. Krishna, a distinguished Kathak trainer and postgraduate in Kathak from Panjab University, Chandigarh and Mr. Pulkit Jain, an accomplished Kathak exponent, choreographer , lecturer and senior disciple of renowned Kathak maestro Pt. Rajendra Gangani Ji of the Jaipur Gharana.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of the Chain of Green Land Schools Dr. Rajesh Rudhra congratulated all the participating schools and students, appreciating their enthusiasm and dedication. He remarked that such cultural platforms help children develop confidence, discipline, creativity and a deep appreciation for India’s rich heritage.

The Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher congratulated all the young performers and appreciated the sincere efforts of the teachers and mentors. She remarked that dance beautifully blends art, expression, discipline and cultural values, empowering children to discover and celebrate their unique talents.
