Vedic Hindi Declamation Competition Was Organised at Green Land
Convent School, Civil City With Great Enthusiasm
Green Land Convent School, Civil City, Ludhiana, organised a Vedic Hindi
Declamation on 6 August 2026 under the aeigs of the Veda Prachar Mandal.
The competition aimed to promote awareness of Vedic knowledge, values,
culture and the richness of Indian heritage among students. The students from
classes VI to XII participated enthusiastically in the competition. Each
participant presented a speech individually on the stage and expressed thoughts
related to Vedic teachings, moral values and their relevance in modern life. The
participants displayed confidence, clarity of expression, effective oratory skills
and a deep understanding of the subject. Their impressive presentations
reflected their preparation, knowledge and respect for India’s rich cultural
heritage.The event provided students with a meaningful platform to enhance
their public-speaking skills, confidence and communication abilities while
connecting with the wisdom of the Vedas. In this competition, Nishka secured
the First Position, Pranvi bagged the Second Position, while Shanaya secured
the Third Position.
Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, the Chairman of Chain of Green Land Schools
congratulated all the participants.He appreciated the initiative of organising the
Vedic Hindi Declamation and remarked that such activities helped students
connect with India’s ancient wisdom and values. He encouraged students to
imbibe these teachings in their daily lives and become confident, responsible
and value-oriented citizens.
Dr. Vijayata Rudhra, the Director of Chain of Green Land Schools extended her
heartfelt congratulations to the participants. She stated that Vedic knowledge
provided valuable lessons of discipline, truth, harmony and righteous living.
She appreciated the students for presenting their ideas with confidence and
urged them to continue exploring India’s rich cultural and intellectual heritage.
The Principal of the School, Ms. Ritu Malhotra applauded the enthusiastic
participation of the students. She said that the competition had offered a
wonderful platform for students to develop oratory skills, confidence and
critical thinking. She encouraged students to continue participating in such
enriching activities.
