: Green Land Senior Secondary Public School added another achievement to its record by securing the Overall Second Position at the Gyani Harjit Singh Memorial Inter-School Declamation Contest held at GGN Public School on September 2.
The competition brought together nearly 28 CBSE schools from across the city, giving young speakers an opportunity to showcase their confidence, communication skills and command over language.
Green Land students made their presence felt in both the English and Punjabi categories. Divyanshi of Class X secured the Second Position in Punjabi, while Pir Jaza of Class XI earned the Third Position in English. Their impressive performances played a key role in helping the school secure the overall second position among CBSE schools in the district.
Congratulating the students and their mentors, Chairman Dr. Rajesh Rudhra and Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher appreciated their hard work, confidence and stage presence.
The school management said that participation in such competitions helps students overcome stage fear, sharpen their communication abilities and learn to express their ideas with greater clarity and confidence.
