Phagwara August 24 (Shiv Kaura) Deputy Commissioner Akash Bansal has said that about 7 acres of land is required for the construction of a new judicial court complex with state-of-the-art facilities and residences of judicial officers in the sub-division Sultanpur Lodhi. Along with this, about 2.5 to 4 acres of land is to be acquired for the construction of residences of judicial officers in Phagwara as well. The Deputy Commissioner clarified that if any private land owner, Gram Panchayat or other government/semi-government institution is willing to give their land to the administration at market rate, then they can immediately contact the SDM (Sub Divisional Magistrate) Sultanpur Lodhi for the Sultanpur Lodhi project and the SDM (Sub Divisional Magistrate) Phagwara for the Phagwara project.
