Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Arvind Kejriwal to Attend as Devotees

A grand religious event dedicated to the devotion and faith of Lord Shiva, titled ‘Ik Shaam Bhagwan Shiv De Naam’, is being organized on August 14 at Daresi Ground, Ludhiana. The event will begin at 6:30 PM, where renowned singer Kailash Kher will delight devotees with his devotional performance.

This information was jointly shared during a press conference in Ludhiana by MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu, MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi, MLA Madan Lal Bagga, MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina, and Deepak Bali, Advisor to the Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department.

On this occasion, Chairman of District Planning Board Committee Ludhiana Jatinder Singh Khangura, National President of Sanatan Sewa Samiti Mr. Vijay Sharma, President of Ved Prachar Mandal Punjab Mr. Roshan Lal Arya, along with Mr. Karan Dhand, Mr. Varun Mehta, Jitender Soni, Rupinder Kaur, Aryan Soni from Sanatan Sewa Samiti Ludhiana, and others were also present.

They informed that thousands of devotees are expected to attend the event. Keeping this in mind, elaborate arrangements are being made for the convenience and safety of the devotees. Special attention will be given to traffic management, parking, drinking water, cleanliness, medical aid, security, and other necessary facilities so that the attending devotees do not face any inconvenience.

They stated that the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is extending full support for the arrangements and facilities for the devotees. They informed that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will also attend the event as devotees to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.

They said that ‘Ik Shaam Bhagwan Shiv De Naam’ is not just a religious event, but a symbol of faith, culture, brotherhood, and social harmony. This event will play an important role in further strengthening unity, mutual bond, and the spirit of brotherhood in society.

They added that this event is not limited to any single organization, but represents the faith and public cooperation of the entire region. Local temple committees, religious organizations, and social service groups are contributing in coordination to make the event a success.

They appealed to all devotees from Ludhiana and surrounding areas to join this event along with their families on August 14 at Daresi Ground, Ludhiana, and receive the blessings of Lord Shiva.
