International Tiger Day Was Celebrated At Green Land Convent School, Civil City With Great Enthusiasm

Green Land Convent School, Civil City celebrated International Tiger Day on 29th
July 2026 to spread awareness about the importance of tiger conservation and to
protect our national animal.The tiny tots of LKG and UKG participated with great
excitement. The theme for the day was "Let’s Roar Together to Protect Our Tigers
and Their Home!"- The little ones came dressed in tiger masks, tiger and hunter
costumes.The main highlight of the day was a special "Play an Act" presented by the
students. Through their performances, the children conveyed the message of saving
tigers, protecting forests, and living in harmony with wildlife. The activity not only
entertained but also educated the young learners about the importance of wildlife
conservation.
Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, the Chairman of Chain of Green Land Schools stated that
protecting the tiger means protecting our ecosystem and national heritage. He
emphasized that it is the responsibility of every citizen, especially the young
generation, to spread awareness about wildlife conservation.
Dr. Vijayata Rudhra, the Director of Chain of Green Land Schools expressed her
happiness in seeing the young learners of LKG and UKG participate so
enthusiastically in the International Tiger Day celebration. She stated that building
awareness about tiger conservation at an early age helps children develop compassion
for nature and wildlife.
The Principal of the School, Ms. Ritu Malhotra said that it was wonderful to see tiny
tots dressed as tigers and hunters spreading awareness about protecting our national
animal. She mentioned that when children learn to respect and care for wildlife, they
grow into responsible citizens.
