Opposition Parties Deliberately Misleading! With Wrong Propaganda
Cabinet Minister Inspects Ongoing Construction of Various Roads

The state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is undertaking the construction and renovation of 45000 kilometres of roads across the state. The upgradation of link roads has also been initiated so as to further put the state on the path of progress.
Minister for Public Works Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO said after inspecting the construction and ongoing works of various roads in Bathinda district today.
MLA Maur Mr. Sukhvir Singh Maisarkhana, Mr. Jatinder Singh Bhalla, Chairman, Improvement Trust and Mr. Neel Garg, Chairman, Punjab Medium Industries Development Board were also especially present.
During a press conference held yesterday regarding a road in Bathinda, which was being circulated on social media, the Minister had challenged local Member of Parliament Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Mr. Bikram Majithia to remain present at the spot during the inspection. Today, the Minister inspected the roads at the spot, but neither of them was present.
After inspecting the Maisarkhana–Tittarsar Sahib road, Cabinet Minister Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO expressed satisfaction over the quality of the road work and said that every single penny of the people's tax money is being spent properly and that all road works are being carried out with complete strength and transparency.
Cabinet Minister Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO also inspected the newly constructed road from village Kotbhara to village Ramgarh Bhundar. A sample of the road was collected at the spot by the Quality Control Centre, Patiala. He said that the road had been constructed as per the prescribed standards. However, if any deficiency is still found in the road work, strict action as per the rules will be taken against the concerned contractor.
On this occasion, referring to the video that had gone viral in recent days showing the same road being broken with hands, he termed the video fake and said that the opposition had no issues left, due to which such misleading propaganda was being carried out against the state government. The Cabinet Minister said that people have now become very wise and aware and therefore do not fall prey to false and misleading propaganda.
On the occasion, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Maur Mr. Gurjinder Singh, Chief Engineer Anil Gupta, Superintending Engineer Anil Sharma, Executive Engineer Onkar Singh and other officials of the Public Works Department were present.
