DMC&H Ludhiana, takes immense pride in congratulating its distinguished alumnus and former faculty member

Dr. Rajinder Kumar Bansal, on his appointment as the Vice Chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS).

Dr. Bansal completed his MBBS from DMC&H in 1988 and MD in Medicine in 1992, followed by D.M. in Neurology from SGPGIMS, Lucknow, in 2000. He joined DMC&H’s Department of Neurology in 2002 and rose to the position of Professor in 2010. During his over two-decade association with the institution, he made significant contributions to medical education, patient care, mentoring and the development of neurological services.

Congratulating Dr. Bansal, Sh. Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, said, “Dr. Bansal’s appointment as Vice Chancellor of BFUHS is a moment of immense pride for DMC&H. His journey from being our alumnus and faculty member to taking up this prestigious leadership position is truly inspiring. We wish him great success in his new responsibility.”

Dr. G.S. Wander, Principal, DMC&H, also congratulated Dr. Bansal and said, “His journey from a student of DMC&H to a distinguished faculty member and now Vice Chancellor of BFUHS is a proud moment for the entire DMC&H fraternity.
