Students Of Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Ludhiana Took Pledge For A Nasha Mukt Bharat

Ludhiana, August 18, 2026: Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Ludhiana, observed the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan with a strong message of awareness, responsibility and collective commitment against substance abuse.

On this occasion, the students from IX to XII took a solemn pledge to stay away from drugs and intoxicating substances and to encourage others to lead a healthy, safe and responsible life. The pledge highlighted the importance of making informed choices, maintaining a positive outlook and contributing towards building a drug-free society.

The initiative aimed at sensitising students about the harmful impact of substance abuse and inspiring them to become responsible citizens and ambassadors of a Nasha Mukt Bharat.

Dr. Rajesh Rudra, Chairman, Chain of Greenland Schools said that our children are the foundation of tomorrow’s India. Through the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, we must empower them with awareness, and confidence to make healthy choices.He further said to work together to build a generation that is strong in character and free from addiction.

Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, Principal said that the pledge taken today is not merely a promise; it is a commitment towards a healthier and brighter future. We encourage our students to spread awareness, make responsible choices and inspire their peers to stay away from drugs and all forms of addiction.
