Kewal Dhillon Calls For Stronger Action Against Drug Trafficking In Punjab

Chandigarh, October 24: Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon has called for stronger measures to tackle drug trafficking in the state, referring to the Punjab Government’s recent notification under the PIT-NDPS Act.

Dhillon highlighted the importance of effective enforcement against drug traffickers and referred to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s remarks on the implementation of anti-drug measures in Punjab.

He said the BJP would continue to raise the issue of drug abuse and trafficking and reiterated the party’s commitment to working towards a drug-free Punjab by December 31, 2029, if it forms the government.
