Khanna Seeks Transparency In 30 Lakh Expenditure On School Nameplates

Jalandhar, October 24: Senior BJP leader Avinash Rai Khanna has raised questions over the reported expenditure of nearly ₹30 lakh on granite plaques at 599 government schools under the Punjab Sikhiya Kranti campaign.

Khanna said the government should ensure that public funds are utilised effectively for improving school infrastructure and providing better facilities to students. He also urged the Punjab Government to release a white paper detailing the utilisation of funds under the campaign to promote transparency and accountability.
