Amritsar Commissionerate Police Dismantles Three Drug Trafficking And Illegal Arms Supply Networks And Apprehends 5 Accused And Recovers 13 Pistols, 3.267 Kg Heroin And 22 Live Cartridges

In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police dismantles three drug trafficking and illegal arms supply networks and apprehends 5 accused and recovers 13 pistols, 3.267 kg heroin and 22 live cartridges.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the arrested accused are involved in the supply of illegal weapons and narcotics.

Separate FIRs have been registered at PS D-Division & PS Chheharta, #Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to uncover the complete backward and forward linkages and identify other persons involved, including foreign-based handlers.
