Phagwara:- (Shiv Kaura) Under the directions of Shri Gaurav Tura IPS Senior Superintendent of Police Kapurthala, Kapurthala Police has arrested one of the accused who beat up and fired on Shiv Sena leader and his son on 18-11-2025. Mrs. Madhvi Sharma PPS Police Superintendent Phagwara while giving information to the press said that on November 18, a deadly attack was carried out on Inderjit Karwal (Shiv Sena leader and his son Jimmy Karwal) at Gaushala Bazaar Phagwara. In connection with which case number 264 dated 19.11.2025 भ/प 109,126(2),190,191(3) Ghee. Bheth. Bhaim, 25-54-59 Arms Act was registered at Police Station City Phagwara Kapurthala against Tanish alias Bhinda son of Charanjit Kumar alias Ladi resident of Valmik Mohalla Phagwara, Sunil Salhotra son of Goni resident of Subhash Nagar Phagwara and 2/3 unknown persons. Different police parties were formed to arrest the accused in this case. Police teams formed To trace the case, while investigating from different angles, the accused were arrested and while committing the crime, the accused Kanoj son of Naresh Kumar, resident of Valmik Mohalla, Subhash Nagar, Phagwara, was arrested. From whom a country-made pistol was recovered. Raids are being conducted by different teams to arrest the remaining accused Tanish alias Bhinda son of Charanjit Kumar alias Ladi, resident of Valmik Mohalla, Phagwara, Sunil Salhotra son of Goni, resident of Subhash Nagar, Phagwara. Who will be arrested as soon as possible.
