The department of Animal Husbandry has launched a special Data Sanitization and Verification drive for livestock records registered on the Bharat Pashu Dhan App.
The records of approximately 135525 animals in Kapurthala are being verified and updated to ensure that the database has accurate, complete and current information. The drive is being carried out on the directions of Principal Secretary Rahul Bhandari and Director Dr. Paramdeep Singh Walia.

He appealed to all livestock owners and the general public to extend their full cooperation in this important exercise. He requested them to verify the information recorded for their animals on the Bharat Pashu Dhan App. In case of any wrong, incomplete or outdated information, they should contact their nearest veterinary hospital, veterinary dispensary or veterinary officer for necessary correction.
