Under the direct guidance of *Dr. Smruti Ranjan Lenka* (General Secretary, Indian Youth Congress & In-charge, Punjab Youth Congress), activists of the Punjab Youth Congress today staged a high-voltage protest in Jalalabad, demanding the immediate resignation of Union Minister *Dharmendra Pradhan*.

Demonstrators escalated their protest by climbing a high-rise water tank in Jalalabad, waving flags and raising slogans against the Central Government to draw urgent national attention to their demands.

Prior to his arrest, *Mora Singh Bhullar* (Secretary, Punjab Youth Congress), who led the action on the ground, addressed the gathering:

*"The youth of Punjab will not stay silent against injustice. Under the direction of Dr. Smruti Ranjan Lenka, we have taken this drastic step to ensure our voice reaches the authorities. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan must accept responsibility and resign immediately."*

*Police Action & Arrests*

As the standoff intensified, local police intervened to bring the situation under control. *Mora Singh Bhullar* was subsequently arrested by the police along with several frontline Youth Congress workers as they descended from the structure.

Despite the arrests, Punjab Youth Congress leadership warned that detention and police action would not stifle their voice, announcing that further protests will be planned across the state if their demands remain unaddressed.
