NEW DELHI:
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday called out the Prime Minister after reports of another paper leak at Uttarakhand Technical University, posting on X, "Now paper leaks have surfaced in Uttarakhand as well. Prime Minister, when will they stop?"
Citing the CBI's clean chit to the mastermind in the 2024 NEET paper leak case, the AAP Chief asserted that the Modi Government has failed to act against those responsible. He further revealed that the CBI had earlier failed to file the chargesheet within the prescribed time, allowing the accused to secure bail within three months, and said the latest developments have completely exposed the government's handling of the paper leak crisis.
Reacting on ‘X’ to the CBI giving a clean chit to the mastermind in the 2024 NEET paper leak case, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been completely exposed. The NEET paper was leaked in 2024. The Modi Government arrested this person, calling him the mastermind. Then the CBI deliberately failed to file the chargesheet on time, resulting in him getting automatic bail within three months.”
He revealed, “And today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has got him a clean chit from the CBI. ‘Wah Modi Ji Wah’. You simply cannot do it because your intentions are dishonest."
Praising the resolve of the young protesters staging a peaceful sit-in at Jantar Mantar, the AAP Chief stated, "I salute Gen Z and the youth of our country. The way all of you faced the police, lathi charges and tear gas shells during this Cockroach Movement is no small thing. The country had fallen asleep. People had become silent and were living in fear. The Modi Government had frightened the people."
Referring to three videos from the protest, he shared, "In one video, a young woman stands in front of a police van carrying her friends to jail and refuses to let it move forward. In another, the police are beating a young man, but instead of running away, he tells them to hit him even more. In the third video, a young protester opens the door of a police van and all the students get out and run away."
Arvind Kejriwal asserted, "The courage and determination with which all of you have faced the police and their atrocities has awakened the entire country today."
Meanwhile, former Delhi Education Minister and AAP's Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia said, "Had the head of the government spoken, all the Pradhans would have been exposed. The Prime Minister wanted to protect the Education Minister, and to protect him, it was necessary for the head to protect himself.”
