Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-poll, Sanjeev Arora, held a poll meeting at Kitchlu Nagar (A-Block) here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Arora presented a detailed performance report of his work over the last three years. He highlighted the key initiatives and developmental projects he undertook during his tenure, emphasizing his commitment to addressing long-pending civic issues and improving infrastructure in Ludhiana.
Arora assured that, if elected to the Assembly, he would work with even greater zeal to accelerate the pace of development and ensure all-round progress for the constituency. He asserted that he has tried to address the concerns of every individual who approached him and expressed that serving society gives him inner satisfaction. He said he never name false promises to people.
Regarding resolving long-pending issues such as providing ownership rights to households in areas under Lal Lakir, Arora said such efforts should be appreciated. He said these matters had remained unresolved for nearly 70 years and expressed pride in addressing them with passion. He assured that, if elected, he would work with four times more dedication and energy.
Arora thanked his friends, party members, leaders, supporters, and volunteers for their overwhelming support during the campaign. He shared that he has received immense love and encouragement from the public, which he did not expect, especially as this is his first election. He added that he is learning new things during this journey and is making efforts to reach every corner of the Ludhiana (West) constituency to personally connect with voters.
He said the blessings and enthusiasm of the people have increased his responsibility. He appealed to the public to vote in large numbers, emphasizing that higher voter turnout strengthens democracy. He also urged voters to press No. 1 button from top on the EVM in his favour.
