Green Land Senior Secondary Public School celebrated World Environment Day with an engaging virtual talk for the students of class IX-XII. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage students to take proactive steps for the betterment of the environment and nature.
During the session, the students were shared valuable insights on the current state of the environment and the importance of individual actions in promoting sustainability. The session covered various topics, including the significance of reducing waste, conserving natural resources, and the impact of climate change on our planet.
In addition to the informative talk, students were encouraged to participate in an initiative to plant saplings. Each student committed to plant at least one sapling in their local area, symbolizing their dedication to nurture and protect the environment. This hands-on activity aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and connection to nature among the students.
The Chairman of Chain of Green Land Schools,Dr.Rajesh Rudhra expressed his pride in the students' enthusiasm and commitment to environmental conservation, stating, "Our goal is to foster a sense of environmental stewardship in our students. Through such initiatives, we hope to empower them to become proactive and responsible citizens who contribute positively to the environment."
