Two Hundred National Cadet Corps Cadets from various Colleges of Ludhiana were addressed by the Additional Director General Punjab,Haryana,Himachal Pardesh and Chandigarh Directorate Major General Manjeet Singh Mokha, Sena Medal at GADVASU Auditorium at Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana on 07 June 2024. While addressing the NCC Cadets the ADG expressed Confidence in the Youth of nation aspiring to shoulder, their responsibility as Skilled Citizens. He appreciated the training standards of both the Girls and Boys NCC Cadets. The efforts of NCC Cdts Social Service and Community Development Activities, has been commendable, the same besides inculcating Skills amongst NCC Cdts, has acted as bridge with Civil Society. The ADG carried out visit to NCC Group Headquarter, Ludhiana and appreciated the training of NCC Cdts by various units and Group Headquarter. Brig HS Chauhan, Group Commander NCC Group Headquarter, Ludhiana apprised the ADG regarding improvement in training facilities, involvement of various Institutes in building career of NCC Cdts and expansion plan of NCC. Overall the first visit of the ADG to Ludhiana was well received. The Cdts pledged to the ADG that they will perform well in Thal Sena Camp and Republic Day Camp and strive to be Skilled Citizens and responsible professionals.
