CICU organised 9th and 10th League Matches of S. Angad Singh Memorial - 9th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament - 2023 on 29th Oct. 2023 were played between the teams of CICU V/s Texla Plastics & Metals and Eastman Cast & Forge V/s. Asian Cranes at Cricket Grounds of GRD Academy Hambran Road, Ludhiana. The 9th league match toss was won by Texla Plastics & Metals and decided field first. CICU team scored 204 runs in 20 overs by losing 5 wickets and Texla Plastics & Metals team scored 87 runs in 18.2 overs by losing 10 wickets. The match was won by CICU by 117 runs. Mr. Harmanpreet Singh of CICU scored 71 runs with 8 fours and 3 sixes in 43 balls and he was declared best batsman. Mr. Nitin Vashisht of CICU took 2 wickets by giving 9 runs in 2.3 overs and he was declared best bowler. The 10th league match toss was won by Asian Cranes team and they decided to bat first. Asian Cranes team scored 92 runs in 14.4 overs by losing 10 wickets and Eastman Cast & Forge team scored 98 runs in 17 overs by losing 4 wickets. The match was won by Eastman Cast & Forge team by 6 wickets. Mr. Jasbir Singh of Asian Cranes scored 45 runs with 3 fours and 3 sixes and he was declared the best batsman. Mr. Pahual of Eastman Cast & Forge took 4 wickets by giving 20 runs in 4 overs and he was declared best bowler of the match. Sh.
