Green Land Senior Secondary Public School celebrated English Language Day with great zeal and literary spirit, aiming to highlight the importance of the English language and its global relevance. The occasion was marked by a series of engaging and educational activities for students across all classes.

Students from Pre-Nursery to UKG, came dressed up as William Shakespeare, showcasing his iconic look and expressing their love for literature. Students of Classes I to V enthusiastically took part in a Slogan Writing Activity based on William Shakespeare. Through their creative slogans, they highlighted the importance of language, literature and the timeless works of Shakespeare.

A special assembly was organized for the students of Classes VI to VIII, where the significance of English as a global language of communication, knowledge and creativity was beautifully highlighted. The students shared thought-provoking ideas, recited poems and presented short speeches emphasizing the richness of the language.

An Inter-Class Declamation Contest was organized for Classes IX and X, where students showcased their oratory skills and command over the English language. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and impressive performances.

On this occasion, the Chairman, of the Chain of Green Land Schools, Dr. Rajesh Rudhra extended his message, stating that English is not just a language but a powerful tool that connects people across cultures and opens doors to endless opportunities. He encouraged students to develop strong communication skills and cultivate a love for literature.

The Principal Mrs Baldeep also shared her thoughts, emphasizing that such celebrations nurture confidence, creativity and linguistic competence among students. She appreciated the efforts of both students and teachers in making the event successful and meaningful.
