CICU in collaboration with Exchange Connect conducted a conference about how to get our business ready for an IPO. Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of CICU said that IPOs are often used as a way of raising capital to fund growth, or crystallise value for a companys founder. With a stock market listing, shares can be used as currency to finance acquisitions; and so, the IPO can provide the fuel for both organic and inorganic growth. They also generate publicity and raise a companys profile. IPOs can prove more attractive than an outright sale as they allow owners to raise capital and diversify their investor base while retaining control. Furthermore, a listing on the BSE can facilitate a balance of sound governance and access to deep, established pools of capital. Many IPO Experts i.e Mr. Pradip Seth, Mr. Sandeep Menon, Mr. Pankaj Sharma from Exchange Connect, Mr. Sandeep Balooja and Mr. Bhupendra Bijlani from ASA Consulting and Mr. Gagan Kohli from Beeline Capital were the keynote speakers and shared the case studies and other insights in this conference like when is the right time to get listed a company, Corporate governance, actions and compliances, Developing Equity shares, Business plans and projections, preparing for an SME IPO, what is systems, process and controls, importance of merger and acquisition and creating board and Organization Structure. AGI Infra Ltd.) were the panellists of this programme, in this they have clear the doubts of the industrialists while going for an IPO Journey and share their experience with industrialists of Ludhiana.
