Khanna Police Solve ₹15 Lakh Robbery Case Within Hours, Two Arrested

Khanna, October 8: Khanna Police have solved a ₹15 lakh robbery case within a few hours and arrested two accused persons. Police have also claimed to recover the looted cash, the vehicle allegedly used in the crime and a country-made pistol.
According to police, Karan Banda, a resident of Mandi Gobindgarh, was returning with his driver after withdrawing ₹15 lakh from a bank in Khanna. During the journey, two unidentified persons allegedly entered the vehicle. One of them pointed a pistol at the driver while the other restrained him. The driver managed to get out of the vehicle, following which the accused fled with the car and cash.
After registering a case, police teams launched an investigation using technical surveillance, human intelligence and CCTV footage. Within a few hours, police arrested Manpreet Singh alias Gopi, a resident of Amloh, and Jatinder Singh alias Kaka, a resident of village Lakha Singh Wala, Amloh.
Police said ₹15 lakh in cash, a Hyundai Venue car and a country-made pistol were recovered from the accused. Further investigation is underway, and the police are questioning the accused regarding their possible involvement in other incidents.
