Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, Ludhiana, organised the third session under its Robotics Lab training initiative for IT teachers of the Chain of Green Land Schools. The session focused on introducing educators to innovative robotics and automation concepts through practical project development, enabling them to explore the integration of technology into real-life applications.
The training, conducted by Mr. Umesh Bajaj, featured the presentation of two innovative projects: Automatic Dustbin Lid Using Ultrasonic Sensor and Home Automation for LED ON/OFF Control Using a Mobile App. These projects demonstrated the practical applications of Arduino, sensors, motors, Bluetooth technology and programming. The innovative models highlighted how technology can be used to develop smart and efficient solutions while enhancing technical knowledge, creativity, problem-solving abilities and practical skills in robotics and automation.
Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, the Chairman of the Chain of Green Land Schools, appreciated the innovative projects presented during the training session. He highlighted that initiatives such as sensor-operated automatic dustbins and mobile-controlled home automation demonstrate the potential of technology in making everyday tasks smarter and more convenient. He emphasised that such learning experiences encourage students to explore automation, understand the practical applications of technology and develop creative solutions to real-life challenges.
Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher appreciated the teachers' efforts in developing and presenting these innovative models. She remarked that projects involving Arduino, ultrasonic sensors and Bluetooth-based mobile applications help teachers understand the practical aspects of robotics and automation. She encouraged teachers to incorporate similar activities into classroom learning to enhance students' programming skills, logical reasoning, creativity and ability to apply scientific concepts in practical situations.
