CICU organised 18th and 19th League Matches of S. Angad Singh Memorial - 9th CICU Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament - 2023 on 3rd Dec. 2023 were played between the teams of Uniparts India Ltd. V/s Moonlight Auto Pvt. Ltd. and Highway Industries Ltd. (Mangli) V/s Asian Cranes at Cricket Grounds of GRD Academy Hambran Road, Ludhiana. The 18th league match toss was won by Uniparts India Ltd. and decided Bat first. Uniparts India Ltd. team scored 185 runs in 20 overs by losing 8 wickets and Moonlight Auto Pvt. Ltd. team scored 97 runs in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets. The match was won by Uniparts India Ltd. by 88 runs. Mr. Hari of Uniparts India Ltd. scored 85 runs with 12 fours and 1 sixes in 49 balls and he was declared best batsman. Mr. Narayan Singh of Moonlight Auto Pvt. Ltd. took 3 wickets by giving 18 runs in 3 overs and he was declared best bowler. The 19th league match toss was won by Highway Industries Ltd. (Mangli) and decided to bat first. Highway Industries Ltd. (Mangli) team scored 86 runs in 14.3 overs by losing all wickets and Asian Cranes team scored 87 runs in 18 overs by losing 7 wickets. The match was won by Asian Cranes by 3 wickets. Mr. Manpreet Singh of Asian Cranes scored 27 runs with 4 fours in 27 balls and he was declared best batsman. Mr. Shanky of Asian Cranes took 4 wickets by giving 22 runs in 3.3 overs and he was declared best bowler. Sh. Playing cricket develops social skills, intellectual capacities & creativity and contributes a more disciplined attitude. He visited the ground to motivate the Teams Players to boost their morale. Sh. Honey Sethi, General Secretary, CICU, a great cricket lover said that Ludhiana is full of cricket fans and a lot of enthusiasm is seen among youngsters for this tournament. Watching live sport at the cricket ground is a fun filled and awesome experience. He played the third ball of the first over and discussed the best practices of cricket.
