Mp Sanjeev Arora Joins Holi Celebrations At 4 Temples

Ludhiana, March 15, 2025: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the upcoming Ludhiana (West) assembly byelection, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, participated in various Holi celebrations across the constituency on Friday. Engaging with locals, he attended cultural events, exchanged festive greetings, and highlighted the festival's spirit of unity and joy.

At `Holi Utsav’ celebrations held at Shri Krishna Balram Goshala, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana, Arora was honoured by the organisers. Arora offered green and dry fodder to cows and bowed his head before Lord Krishna and sought prosperity of residents.

At `Pushp Holi’ celebrations held at Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir (BRS Nagar), Arora personally met all the present there and shared his vision about development of the Ludhiana (West constituency) with them. The area municipal councillor Amrit Varsha Rampal made an appeal to people to vote for Arora for making the constituency best. She lauded termed Arora a visionary and development-oriented leader.

Arora did worship of Lord Krishna during `Holi Rangotsav’ event held at Shree Jagannath Dham, Hasanpur, on Ludhiana-Ferozepur road, Ludhiana. He said he is completed dedicated for the development of his constituency and announced a grant of Rs.5 lakh for this temple.

At Shree Govind Godham, Hambran road, Ludhiana, Arora offered fodder to cows. He was very much impressed to visit this godham where around 2,200 cows are given shelter and taken care of by the organisers. He lauded the management for running this godham in a well-planned manner. He said he is contesting coming byelection from Ludhiana (West) assembly seat on basis of the development agenda. He asked everyone to support him for his thumping victory.

During his visit to Iskcon Sri Jagannath Temple, Janpath Estate, Ludhiana, on a demand by the devotees and the management committee, Arora announced to rename the approach road as “Bhakti Vedant Marg” in the near future. When Arora made an announcement to this effect, thousands of devotees attending `Pushp Holi’ celebrations’ welcome this announcement with clapping. Advocate Sanjeev Sood Banka, Hemant Sood, Rajesh Dhanda, Amit Garg and Rajesh Gupta and others were present on the occasion.

A similar function was also organsied by Iskcon at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan Auditorium, Ludhiana. He did worship of Lord Krishna here also.

At all the events, Arora was accompanied by his wife Sandhya Arora. At all the functions, Arora said, “Let’s celebrate the Holi festival with unity and happiness as we build a better Ludhiana West together.”
