Bbmb Red Cross Fair Organized With Great Enthusiasm At Talwara

The BBMB Red Cross Fair was organized with great enthusiasm and grandeur today under the guidance of Chief Engineer Rakesh Gupta at Talwara. The fair was inaugurated by BBMB Red Cross Chairperson Mrs. Seema Gupta.
Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur, Aashika Jain (IAS), graced the occasion with her presence despite her busy schedule. A large number of people attended the fair, reflecting strong public participation and community spirit. SE Suresh Man from BBMB Nangal was also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the event, Chief Engineer Rakesh Gupta said that the Red Cross Fair is organized annually by the BBMB Red Cross Society. He highlighted that the fair serves as a symbol of social unity and plays an important role in promoting the humanitarian activities of the Red Cross. Deputy Chief Engineer Vimal Kumar Meena, SE Manveen Chaudhary, and Engineer Ajit Kumar were also present.
Chairperson Mrs. Seema Gupta stated that the Red Cross actively works for the welfare of the underprivileged and needy sections of society. She appreciated the support and contribution of local residents in making the event successful.
Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson of the District Red Cross Society, Aashika Jain, lauded the efforts of the BBMB Red Cross Society, stating that such initiatives strengthen social harmony and provide vital support to the needy. She congratulated the organizers for successfully conducting the fair.
Earlier, the dignitaries visited various stalls set up by BBMB divisions, private institutions, and self-help groups. Traditional food stalls and fun-filled games were major attractions for visitors. People enjoyed a variety of delicious food items at the stalls established by different BBMB offices.
Secretary of the BBMB Red Cross Society, Mrs. Dimple, informed that the income generated from the fair will be utilized for helping poor and needy people. The event concluded with a lucky draw, and prizes were distributed among the winners.
Among others present were Executive Engineer Vinay Kumar, APS Ubhi, Sanjay Kumar Duttich, Rabinder Singh, Harpreet Singh, Gaurav Lamba, PMO Surinder Pal Singh, and Red Cross Manager Nardev Singh.
