Army Recruitment Office Ludhiana inspires youth to join the Indian Army; 40 cadets register on the spot
A special awareness program regarding the Agniveer Recruitment Scheme was organized at the Gulzar Group of Institutes (GGI), Khanna. This program was conducted by the Army Recruitment Office (ARO), Ludhiana, in collaboration with the 19 Punjab Battalion NCC. The primary objective of the campaign was to inform the youth about the opportunities available in the Indian Army under the Agniveer scheme. A special feature of the event was the arrival of the 'Karvan Talkies' Mobile Registration Unit, which is visiting various colleges across Punjab to provide on-the-spot registration facilities.
Under the leadership of Lt. Col. Faizan Zahoor Commanding Officer, 19 Punjab Battalion NCC), the ARO team provided detailed information to the students. Live demonstration of the online registration process and Cautionary advice to stay away from unauthorized agents and middlemen.
The institution’s Vice Chairman, Engr. Gurkirat Singh, and Campus Director, Prof. (Dr.) Honey Sharma, lauded the efforts of the ARO Ludhiana team. Administrative Officer Col. K.S. Kondal (Retd.) praised the hard work of ANO Captain K.J.S. Gill, noting that such programs are highly beneficial for youth passionate about serving the nation. During the campaign, 40 GGI cadets registered for the Agniveer scheme on the spot. The program concluded with a message encouraging the youth to join the Army with complete integrity and awareness.
