Shiromani Akali Dal To Conduct Door-to-door Campaign From October 6 To 25

Chandigarh, October 7: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will conduct a door-to-door campaign across Punjab from October 6 to October 25, 2026, as part of its preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections.
According to a letter issued by the party on October 3, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal launched the campaign at 11 a.m. on October 6 from his residence in Badal village.
On the same day, Halqa Incharges across all Assembly constituencies of Punjab were directed to start the door-to-door programme in their respective areas along with party workers.
Senior party leaders will also participate in the campaign in their respective areas. The party has asked district-level leaders and other office-bearers to extend their cooperation to make the programme successful.
During the campaign, party workers will visit households, interact with residents and collect their views and suggestions through a specially prepared feedback form.
The party has directed Halqa Incharges and senior leaders to ensure effective implementation of the campaign and establish maximum public contact ahead of the elections.
