Ludhiana/Chandigarh, September 26
Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon on Thursday visited DMC Hero Heart Hospital in Ludhiana to enquire about the health of BJP leader Vinod Kali, who was injured in a road accident in Mansa during the party’s ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’.
Dhillon met the doctors treating Kali and took detailed information about his condition and ongoing treatment. He asked the medical team to ensure all possible facilities for his treatment and assured the family that the party would extend every possible assistance during the course of treatment.
Dhillon also met Kali’s family members and expressed solidarity with them. He said the BJP stood firmly with the family in the difficult hour and that no effort would be spared to support Kali’s treatment.
He said Kali had actively participated in the party’s ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’ and was injured in the accident during the programme. The safety and well-being of every party worker and leader remained important, he added.
Dhillon prayed for Kali’s speedy recovery and expressed hope that he would soon return home and resume his normal activities.
State general secretary Anil Sareen, district president Sunil Maudgil and other party workers accompanied Dhillon.
