Cicu Tech Show 2026 Concludes With Strong Industry Response, 50+ Exhibitors Showcase New-age Technologies

The CICU Tech Show 2026, organised by the Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) at its Focal Point complex, concluded with an encouraging response from manufacturers, MSMEs, entrepreneurs and technology providers. The two-day event brought together more than 50 exhibitors, offering visitors a close look at emerging technologies, automation solutions, Industry 4.0 applications and AI-led innovations for the manufacturing sector. A major attraction of the exhibition was the CICU Low-Cost Automation Centre, which drew considerable attention from industrial visitors looking for practical and affordable automation solutions. The centre demonstrated how MSMEs can adopt automation to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency without making prohibitively high investments.

The Tech Show, held around the theme “Industry 4.0 & AI Transformation for Manufacturers and MSMEs,” provided a platform for technology companies and industrial units to interact directly and explore solutions relevant to shop-floor requirements. Alongside the exhibition, CICU organised a series of technical and knowledge-sharing sessions covering contemporary manufacturing practices, lean management, technology and entrepreneurship.

The sessions featured experts including Mr. Narinder Singh Jassal, Sr. Principal Scientist, CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO); Mr. Pratap Krishan Aggarwal, Member, NASSCOM SME Council and Director, Space Fashions Ltd.; Mr. Sumedh Sachdev, General Secretary, TiE Chandigarh; Mr. Yasumi Suzuki San, Indo-Japan Business Consultant & Mentor; and Mr. Rakesh Atre, Vice President–Business Excellence, Munjal Showa Ltd.

A special BNG & YBLF Meeting was also addressed by Mr. Kuunal Pruuthi, Founder, Chaptroz – CNI Channel, while the sessions provided participants an opportunity to understand the changing technology landscape and its practical application in industry. Speaking on the conclusion of the event, CICU representatives said the objective was not merely to display technology but to connect technology providers with the real requirements of MSMEs. The strong visitor response to automation, AI and Industry 4.0 solutions showed that Punjab's manufacturing sector is increasingly looking at technology as a tool for improving competitiveness.

The event also created opportunities for industrialists to discuss automation, productivity enhancement, lean manufacturing, TPM, digital transformation and technology adoption directly with experts and solution providers. CICU said the successful conclusion of Tech Show 2026 reflected the growing need for a stronger industry-technology ecosystem in Punjab, particularly for MSMEs seeking cost-effective, scalable and practical solutions for modernizing their manufacturing operations.
