CASE 1: Massive Narcotics Seizure – *3 KG 697 Grams of Heroin* Recovered
Acting on precise intelligence inputs police registered FIR No. 206 dated 15-10-2026 under Sections 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Division No. 02, Ludhiana.
* The Accused: Niranjan Singh @ Garry S/o Gurnam Singh, resident of Khaira Bet, Police Station Ladowal, Ludhiana.
* The Recovery: A massive haul of 3 Kilograms and 697 Grams of Heroin was seized from his possession.
* Criminal History: The accused is a habitual offender and was previously booked under FIR No. 152 dated 24-11-2024 under the NDPS Act at Police Station Rahon, District SBS Nagar.
CASE 2: High-Profile Murder Breakthrough – Former Sarpanch Navtej Singh Assassination Case
In a major breakthrough regarding the murder of former Manewal village Sarpanch Navtej Singh—who was gunned down by unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants—Police teams from CIA Staff and PS Ladhowal have clamped down hard on the perpetrators.
* The Case: FIR No. 167 dated 04-10-2026 was registered under Sections 103, 324(4), 351(3), 191(3), 190, 61(2) BNS and 25-54-59 Arms Act at Police Station Ladowal against multiple accused individuals following a land dispute involving approximately 1.5 kanals of land.
