*Medical tests will be done at free rate, ECG also at 10%

Taking forward the mission of humanity, Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust started 'Sunny Oberoi Clinical Lab and Diagnostic Center' in the acupuncture hospital premises, dedicating it to the 400th anniversary of the arrival festival of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji. This was done in collaboration with Dr. DN Kotnis Acupuncture Hospital located at Salem Tabri. Medical tests will be done at concessional rates in this lab.
It was jointly inaugurated by the Trust's Chairman Dr. SP Singh Oberoi and Iqbal Singh Gill. MLA Chaudhary Madan Lal Bagga praised the huge gift of free medical tests being given to the local residents. He also said that while the Punjab government is providing free treatment to the poor and needy people through Mohalla clinics, Sarbat Da Bhala Trust and Dr. DN Kotnis Hospital are also engaged in serving and giving relief to the poor by opening such labs. On this occasion, Dr. SP Singh Oberoi, Chairman of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust, said that due to the change in lifestyle at present, many diseases have engulfed the common people. In such a situation, when the medical facilities are out of reach of common people, the trust is trying to provide relief to the needy by opening such labs and centers. He said that the trust has so far opened 250 clinical labs and diagnostic centers in 11 states where various tests are done at 10 percent cost compared to the market. He also mentioned that the trust also plans to open medical stores with discounted rates in the near future. Apart from this, Dialysis Centers, Computer and Sewing Embroidery Centers for Women Empowerment and other public welfare centers have already been running.
Praising the treatment being done at concessional rates through acupuncture by Dr. DN Kotnis Hospital, Dr. Singh said that it is a matter of great happiness that the hospital is going to complete 50 years of providing this service. He also talked about the significance of financial aid given by the trust which will make sure to not put the burden of expensive goods after Corona on the common people. Dr. Inderjit Singh and Hospital General Secretary Iqbal Singh Gill and Secretary Jagdish Sidana also gave information about the history of the hospital and expressed gratitude to Dr. SP Oberoi for announcing financial assistance to the hospital.
Earlier, Vice President of Hospital Committee Advocate KR Sikri welcomed Dr. SP Singh Oberoi and Trust Advisor Dr. Daljit Singh Gill by giving bouquets upon their arrival to the hospital. Ludhiana President of the Trust Jaswant Singh Chhapa thanked Dr. SP Singh for opening this clinical lab and diagnostic center in Ludhiana. Dr Inderjit Singh also gave information to Dr SP Oberoi about the patients undergoing acupuncture treatment in the hospital. On behalf of the hospital management, Dr Inderjit Singh, Iqbal Singh Gill and Jagdish Sidana honored Dr SP Singh and Dr Daljit Singh Gill by giving them mementoes. On this occasion, KK Bawa, Colonel KS Kahlon, Dr Neha Dhingra, Dr Raghbir Singh, Dr Ajaypal Thind, Ashwani Verma, Resham Natt, Sushil Sood, Dinesh Rathore, Upinder, Manisha, Upendra Singh, Aman, Ritika, Anu Chawla, Gagandeep Bhatia, Meenu, Kawaljit Shankar, Kanwal Walia, Tarsem Lal, etc were present.
