Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab President Aman Arora today said that the party’s candidate from Ludhiana (West) Assembly constituency, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, has ushered in a new era of politics by replacing the “dabangai kind of politics” with development-centric governance. He said this during a poll meeting held at Sarabha Nagar here this morning.
Praising Sanjeev Arora’s leadership, Aman Arora described him as a refined, honest, and soft-spoken politician who has shifted the focus to result-oriented development. “His campaign is being conducted in a smooth, positive, and people-friendly manner. I am confident the results will be in his favour,” he said, commending Arora for executing significant development works in the last three years.
Highlighting the pro-people and pro-industry approach of the AAP-led Punjab government, Aman Arora said, “Our government is ensuring the welfare of all sections of society. The policies are entirely people- and industry-centric, and the positive outcomes are clearly visible.”
He urged citizens to vote on June 19, stating that the party and its leaders have fulfilled their responsibilities—and now it’s the public’s turn. “Every vote cast will strengthen Ludhiana’s development journey. I also appeal to residents to plan their vacations either before or after polling day to fulfil their civic responsibility,” he said.
MP Sanjeev Arora, addressing the gathering, said that he has learned a lot from the AAP, which is working for his campaign as one united family. He acknowledged the dedicated efforts of MPs, MLAs, municipal councillors, and volunteers in his campaign. “Such unity is not only commendable but should also be reflected within our families,” he remarked.
Arora reiterated his commitment to public welfare, stating that the development he carried out in the last three years was done happily—and he will now work with even greater responsibility if elected. “Every vote matters. Your support will be a mark of your trust and a symbol of our unity,” he concluded.
Punjab Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, Sunil Modi, and Arun Sharma were also present at the meeting.
