Ggi Hosts Orientation Programme ‘aarambh’ For Freshers Batch 2026

Gulzar Group of Institutions organised a grand orientation programme, ‘Aarambh’, to warmly welcome the new students of the Freshers Batch 2026. The programme was designed around the theme “The Beginning of a Remarkable Journey”, with the objective of preparing students for an exciting and successful new academic chapter. Built around the theme “Learn, Innovate, and Get Yourself Placed,” the programme featured a series of engaging and industry-oriented activities. Under the ‘Learn’ segment, students were introduced to emerging technical skills through a Coding Hackathon and special lectures delivered by industry experts. The ‘Innovate’ segment focused on nurturing creativity and innovative thinking among students through Idea Pitching competitions and mini-project exhibitions. Under the ‘Get Yourself Placed’ segment, students were provided practical exposure to placement preparation through mock interviews, resume-building workshops and career counselling sessions.

Organised in collaboration with IBM, the programme featured Aman Bakshi, Growth Initiative Leader, as the special guest. Sharing his views, he said that in the present era, innovation and technology are among the key drivers of success. He encouraged students to adapt themselves according to the evolving requirements of the industry and make the most of opportunities to learn from industry experts.

Er. Gurkirat Singh, Vice Chairman, Gulzar Group, warmly welcomed the new students and said that the institution’s primary objective is not only to provide quality education but also to equip students with industry-relevant skills and prepare them to become future leaders. He said that the ‘Aarambh’ programme lays a strong foundation for the students’ promising journey ahead. Towards the conclusion of the programme, students shared their thoughts and interacted with their peers about their aspirations and future goals, making the orientation an inspiring and meaningful beginning to their academic journey.
