Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Hosts Ludhiana Sahodaya Central Zone Inter-school Radio Jockey Competition

Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Ludhiana, hosted the Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex (Central Zone) Inter-School Radio Jockey Competition in its school auditorium today. The event brought together around 16 CBSE schools from across Ludhiana, providing a dynamic platform for students to showcase their talent, creativity and communication skills.

The theme of the competition was “Traitors of Humanity and Prayer for Peace Around the World”, inspiring participants to reflect on compassion, unity and global harmony through their innovative RJ presentations. Students from senior secondary classes captivated the audience with thoughtful scripts, confident anchoring, and engaging segments that blended information, emotion and responsible media use.

The distinguished panel of judges appreciated the clarity of thought, voice modulation, content selection and stage presence of the budding radio jockeys. The winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates, while all participants received appreciation for their sincere efforts and exemplary performances.

The Chairman, Chain of Green Land Schools, Dr. Rajesh Rudhra emphasised that young voices must be guided to use media responsibly, spreading kindness, empathy and unity rather than negativity. He congratulated all participating schools and students and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurture socially conscious and compassionate future citizens.

The Principal Mrs Baldeep Pandher appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and lauded their thoughtful presentations . She highlighted that co-curricular activities like the Radio Jockey competition are vital for developing confidence, communication skills and sensitivity towards global issues. She stated that such events strengthen the values of harmony, respect and mutual understanding among learners.
