The 14th Ganesh Mahotsav was inaugurated at the Sidh Data Seva Society (Regd), where resides Asia's tallest and most majestic statue of Lord Ganesha. The temple and pandal were adorned with beautiful flowers, creating a serene and blissful atmosphere. The inauguration was marked with great devotion and faith.
Under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, President of Sidh Data Seva Society(Regd.), Pandit Ajay Vashisht, Pandit Vinod, and Pandit Davinder Sharma, the idol of Lord Ganesha was installed with complete Vedic rituals and mantras. Smt. Usha Rudra, Dr. Shabd Rudra, Dr. Vijayata Rudra, Shri Ravi Kalra, Smt. Rashmi Kalra, Shri Diputy Kapoor, Smt. Suman Kapoor, Smt. Rita Kapoor, Shri Ved Bhandari , Shri Tarachand Ji , Sh. Vijay Danav,Sh. Harish Rudhra, Sh. Anil Khanna, Sh. Sudhir Sharma – Patwari, Sh. Gaurav Shastri, Sh. Chitr Raj Hari, Sh. Rana, and Sh. Vaibhav Gulati were present on this auspicious occasion.
Pandit Ajay Vashisht delivered a discourse on the significance of worshipping Lord Ganesha. He emphasized the importance of meditating on Lord Ganesha and highlighted the significance of Sanatan Dharma. Floral tributes were also offered to Sant Guru Shri Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj. He said that Lord Ganesha grants blessings according to one's devotion. He also meditated on the nine forms of Goddess Parvati. Puja and archana were also performed for the Navagrahas and Goddess Gauri. Invoking all the deities, he said that those who dedicate their time in worshipping God are fortunate and blessed and that Ganapati Ji always blesses his devotees. He stated that those who spend their time praising the Lord are fortunate. The entire country worships Lord Ganesha who blesses his devotees abundantly.
Addressing the devotees, Dr. Rajesh Rudra, President of Sidh Data Seva Society (Regd), said that those who offer their heartfelt prayers to Lord Ganesha receive abundant blessings and their prayers are always answered. He further stated that those who worship Lord Ganesha with a sincere heart have all their worries, tensions, physical ailments and obstacles removed. He prayed to the Lord to fulfill the desires of all devotees. He said that the nine-day Ganesh festival will be celebrated with great enthusiasm from September 7 to September 16 and Ganpati Visarjan will take place on September 17, 2024, at 12:00 noon after the Havan Puja. He invited everyone to the Ganesh Utsav.
The members and other devotees present performed the Maha Aarti and laddoos were distributed among all. The temple echoed with the chants of "Ganpati Bappa Morya."
