SEBI and the National Stock Exchange of India organized an awareness seminar at Bachat Bhawan on Wednesday. Senior officials from the district administration attended the seminar. The main objective of the seminar was to inform people about the steps taken by SEBI to benefit investors and to educate them about securities as part of proper financial planning. Deputy Manager, Regulator, National Stock Exchange, Shivam Jindal, inaugurated the seminar.
During the program, Chief Guest Shivam Jindal explained various saving and investment methods for different life stages. He also mentioned that new guidelines are being created by SEBI to protect investors' interests and that SEBI has implemented strict measures against intermediaries such as agents, brokers, companies, and merchant bankers who commit fraud in the securities market. Investors can lodge complaints by visiting the SCORES website, an online platform for grievance redressal provided by SEBI. SEBI has also recently launched the Saarthi app, which investors can download to make safe investments.
