National Endangered Species Day is observed on the third Friday of May every year. This day is celebrated to highlight the increasing need to protect endangered species across the world.
The tiny tots of Green Land Sen.Sec.Public School observed this day by making face masks of endangered species to encourage learning about wildlife habitats and the actions necessary to protect them.
The Chairman,Chain of Green Land Schools, Dr. Rajesh Rudra said that the main aim to observe this day is to raise awareness in every part of the globe so that endangered species can be saved from extinction.
The Principal, Mrs.Baldeep Pandher, said that let’s be mindful of our actions and work together to create a safe future where endangered species can thrive and our planet can flourish. It’s crucial that we should understand their role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
