In a landmark move to enhance the stature of the prestigious Sainik School, Kapurthala, the Punjab Government signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) today, as announced by Sainik Welfare and Horticulture Minister, Mr. Mohinder Bhagat. Additionally, he directed Public Works Department (PWD) officials to submit a Detailed Project Report (DPR) without delay for further renovation works, addressing the urgent need to modernize the historic campus.
During the visit, Minister Bhagat paid obeisance at the Smriti Sthal, honoring army personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation’s safety. He later distributed financial assistance grants to ex-servicemen and their families at the Sainik Welfare Office, Kapurthala, reinforcing the government’s support for veterans.
