Sports and Youth Services Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer on Thursday launched the website of Youth Services Department to bring the activities and schemes of Youth Services Department to maximum number of people/youth.
Meet Hayer said that the as per the efforts of the state government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann to provide benefits of government schemes to the people, websites of various departments are being created so that the entire information of the department is within the reach of the people at the click of a button.
The Youth Services Minister further said that the website was launched today in fulfillment of the department's long-standing demand. Through this website, the youth will be able to easily access the schemes/online registration/affiliation of youth clubs pertaining to the department. With this, youth between 15 to 35 years would be directly involved in departmental schemes like adventure camps, mountaineering camps, inter-state tour programs, youth leadership and trekking camps, youth training workshops, youth festivals, National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Ribbon clubs and other activities.
