MUKERIAN; 18th July 2026:
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced that the Bhagwant Mann Government will transfer the ‘Samman Rashi’ (honorarium) to the bank accounts of over 50 lakh newly registered women on 1 August under the Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojna while assuring those who are yet to receive the benefit that they will get payments for all three months from July to September. Calling CM Bhagwant Mann a "100% honest" Chief Minister, the AAP Supremo said his honest governance has enabled the Punjab Government to provide free electricity, ₹1,000 Samman Rashi and other public welfare benefits. He added that Bhagwant Mann, who is working day and night for the people, deserves to be re-elected as Punjab's Chief Minister.
Addressing the massive gathering at the Bhajan Sandhya, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal shared good news for women, saying, "When Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched the scheme on 1 July, money was transferred to the bank accounts of 32 lakh women. On 1 August, more than 50 lakh women will receive the honorarium. Women who have registered but have not yet received the amount do not need to worry. They will receive the money for all three months of July, August and September. ₹1,000 per month is being transferred to the accounts of women, while women from Dalit communities are receiving ₹1,500 per month."
Highlighting the AAP-led Government's governance, the AAP Supremo stated, "Today, people are receiving zero electricity bills, and this is happening because Punjab has an honest Chief Minister. Every previous government faced allegations of corruption. But for the first time, Punjab has a Chief Minister against whom, whose family, or whose ministers, there is not even a single allegation of corruption. It is now the fifth year, and an honest Chief Minister is working for you without a single allegation."
Announcing an expansion of the Mukh Mantri Teerath Yatra Yojna, Arvind Kejriwal said, "At present, buses operate on two routes under the scheme, Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Anandpur Sahib. The government bears the entire cost of travel, AC buses, AC hotels and food. From 1 August, three new routes are being added. Free buses will now also operate to Salasar Ji, Khatu Shyam Ji, Mathura,  Vrindavan and Haridwar, Rishikesh. We will take 1.5 lakh pilgrims on free ‘teerath’ yatras to these places."
The AAP Chief asserted, "Amritsar is home to the historic Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir, where Bhagwan Valmiki wrote the Ramayan, Mata Sita stayed, and Luv Kush were born and educated. Therefore, the government has decided to build a grand Mandir dedicated to Luv Kush and Mata Sita next to the Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir. In addition, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is spending ₹80 crore to develop the Kali Mata Mandir in Patiala into a grand complex, which will be completed by 1 October."
Referring to the ongoing Bhajan Sandhya programme across the state, Arvind Kejriwal emphasised, "These Bhajan Sandhyas are being organised in all 22 cities of Punjab. People say this is the first government that is working at the grassroots level for Sanatan Dharma. We are working for the people, and CM Bhagwant Mann is dedicated to serving you 24 hours a day. Therefore, Bhagwant Mann should once again become the Chief Minister of Punjab.”
