Punjab Youth Congress Organisational Election Process Officially Commenced In Punjab

Punjab Youth Congress wishes to clarify that the Organisational Election process has officially commenced in the state of Punjab, following the established and transparent democratic framework of the organisation.

It is important to note that no elected or appointed organisational body has been dissolved at this stage.

All existing office bearers and committees at the Block, Assembly, District, and State levels shall continue to function and discharge their responsibilities until the new election results are formally announced by the competent authority.

For clarity, Punjab Youth Congress would like to highlight that a similar election process was launched in January 2023, and this year as well, the election process has been announced in January 2026, maintaining continuity and organisational discipline.

The election process will be conducted in the following stages:

1. Filing of Nominations

2. Membership Verification and Voting

3. Scrutiny and Results

4. Interviews by the authorised committee

5. Formal Announcement of the New President and Office Bearers

Any reports or rumours suggesting dissolution of the existing organisational bodies are false, misleading, and baseless.

Punjab Youth Congress remains fully committed to a transparent, democratic, and structured election process, ensuring organisational stability throughout the transition.
