Reacting to Khalistani supporter Gurpatwant Pannun's threats to harm statues of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and assassinate AAP leaders, senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema slammed Pannun, calling him a traitor to Punjab and the nation. He accused Pannun of attempting to disrupt Punjab's peace but assured that such efforts would fail. Cheema also questioned whether Bajwa is comfortable with the support of a Khalistani Terrorist Pannu, who spews venom against Baba Saheb.

Senior AAP leader and Punjab Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema stated that traitors like Pannu cannot harm Baba Saheb Ambedkar's ideals. Millions in Punjab and across the country revere Baba Saheb as their inspiration. For the Dalit community, he is akin to God.

Cheema said that the people of Punjab have always stood firmly with Dr. Ambedkar, and every AAP worker walks the path shown by Baba Saheb. He affirmed that AAP workers and three crore Punjabis would deliver a befitting response to Pannun. "We will protect Baba Saheb Ambedkar's ideals until our last breath," Cheema declared.

AAP MLA Manwinder Singh Giaspura launched a scathing attack on Gurpatwant Pannun, challenging him to step foot in Punjab if he has the courage. "Then we will show you the consequences of insulting Baba Saheb," he said.

Giaspura accused Pannun of trying to disrupt Punjab's harmony through his statements. However, he remarked that in the eyes of Punjabis, Pannun is nothing but a traitor. "He has no connection with Punjab. His sole purpose is to spread hatred," he added.

Giaspura further stated that the people of Punjab have always rejected divisive forces that propagate fear and hatred. "This time will be no different," he asserted. "Punjab is known for its communal harmony and social unity. History bears testimony to this fact."
