Ludhiana, April 18, 2025: Since being announced as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the upcoming Ludhiana West Assembly by-election, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora has been adeptly managing his responsibilities both as a Member of Parliament and as a contesting candidate.

Traditionally, political candidates focus solely on their constituencies during election campaigns. However, Arora has expanded his reach beyond Ludhiana West, actively participating in events across the city and addressing concerns from residents citywide. His approach signifies a departure from conventional campaign strategies, emphasising comprehensive community engagement.

Arora's commitment to development is evident in his ongoing projects throughout Ludhiana. He continues to allocate time to meet with citizens, listen to their grievances, and implement solutions, reinforcing his reputation as a development-focused leader. His dual role underscores his dedication to serving the public beyond electoral obligations.

It may be mentioned here that since becoming a Rajya Sabha MP, he has asked 229 questions, significantly above the national average of 134.22, and participated in 82 debates, slightly surpassing the national average of 79.8. He has also introduced one Private Member's Bill. His average attendance in the Rajya Sabha stands at 80%, which is on par with the national average. Of this, he has asked 34 questions during Rajya Sabha’s last session held in March this year.
