These under graduate courses are in huge demand after pandemic. Dr. Shailesh Tripathi, Group Director, stated that as healthcare concerns have become prime focus in recent years. We all know nutrition plays a significant role in ailment prevention and restricting life style diseases. It has become imperative to imbibe the requisite knowledge regarding modern nutrition and dietetic care for healthy and happy living. Health-conscious people are inquiring the quantity of vitamins and minerals in food and vegetables. We have started the Medical Science department in 2015 and since then hundreds of students have already been placed in various renowned hospitals and healthcare centers. Our Medical Science department caters specialized practical knowledge to students. We have signatured number of MOUs with hospitals and renowned laboratories to make students a ready healthcare professional. In the School of Medical Lab Sciences we are offering B.Sc. MLS, B.Sc. Microbiology and B.Sc. (H) Nutrition & Dietetics course for students. The seat booking in these courses for the 2023 session are in progress now and admissions are purely on first come first serve basis. The scope of Medical Science and Microbiology has been seen in the fields of pharmacy, clinical research, dairy industry, water industry and chemical technology. On the other hand B.Sc. (H) Nutrition & Dietetics course has a wide scope as Healthcare consultant, academic institutions, hospitals, food manufacturing industries, community and public health organisations, sports, and government agencies as well. B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics course has been specifically designed for students with a strong interest in food, science, and medicine, who wish to use their knowledge to help prevent and treat disease as a registered dietician. To make this course productive for students we added a German experienced faculty Chef. Mr. Gagandeep Humpal in our team. Chef. Mr. Gagandeep Humpal stated that all these courses are in heavy demand in foreign also. Thus, the students who wish to get settled abroad can opt for these courses.
