Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Students Honoured By Punjab Government For Excellence In Cbse Class Xii Board Examination 2026

Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, Ludhiana, added another glorious feather to its cap as eight of its meritorious Class XII students were honoured by the Punjab Government for securing 95% and above in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination 2026.

The prestigious felicitation ceremony was organised by the District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Ludhiana, at Guru Nanak Bhawan, Ludhiana. The event was graced by the Hon'ble Education Minister of Punjab, S. Harjot Singh Bains, along with Shri Manish Sisodia, who personally felicitated the young achievers and applauded their outstanding academic excellence, dedication and perseverance.

The eight distinguished achievers from Green Land Senior Secondary Public School who earned this prestigious state honour are:

Chetanya Kumar – 98% (Commerce)

Angel Thakur – 96.8% (Medical)

Aditi – 96.8% (Commerce)

Bhavyam Jain – 96.2% (Commerce)

Shivanshu Sharma – 95.8% (Commerce)

Sara Kalsi – 95.4% (Humanities)

Mauli – 95.2% (Non-Medical)

Tamya Bedi – 95.2% (Commerce)

During an interactive session with Shri Manish Sisodia, the students were encouraged to share their views on the future of education in India. Representing Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Chetanya Kumar expressed that the education system should be character-oriented and focus on nurturing responsible, ethical and compassionate citizens.
